Life in Traffic Jams
Life's
like a really long and bad traffic jam. And you're the one who is driving a two
wheeler through it. So yes, the only way
to get through it, is keep moving, keep going. 'Cz the procession of vehicles
never stop, they keep moving & trampling the ones who cease to move with
the flow.
Yes,
you'll need a lot of maneuvering, to make your way through it, but that's just
the way it is. You'll also have to cut through someone else's way, and cheat
through it, to keep moving – do it, don't hesitate. 'Cz the ones with you or behind
you, won't. Cut across someone else's way, perhaps end up making a bigger
traffic jam for them while doing so, doesn't matter. Just don't stop. 'Cz the
only rule of this traffic jam is: we don't stop moving & the ones who do,
are stopped forever.
Yes,
a lot of the fellow travelers may not agree with the way you choose to drive
and tackle the traffic. Screw them, who cares? Because, a lot of idiots just
need to blare their horns, with or without the need for them. For, these are the
assholes, to whom traffic jams are just incomplete without some really bad
blaring horns. You really can't stop them from honking, but you can move
faster, to leave them and their irritating horns behind - always!
Your
loved ones, friends, family? Well, it's not a car that we ride here my dear,
everyone has their own vehicles to man, so you're the driver of your own
vehicle and you're in it for yourself. Nobody will get you through it, but
yourself – nobody really can – everyone is struggling to keep moving themselves,
remember?
While
you get that, also remember, that it's way easier to make your way through the heavy
traffic, cutting across vehicles, and maneuvering through them, when you're
riding alone. Any pllion riding with you, makes it just that much difficult to
perform those maneuvers. Conclusion? It's always best to ride alone, 'cz you're alone in
the ride, eventually! Why risk getting stuck then?
Oh
also, throughout the long jam, it's possible to come across an attractive
billboard, or a breathtaking fellow traveler. But it's never a good idea to
stop just too swoon over a breathtaking view or a catchy billboard sign, 'cz the goal is go
get out of the traffic jam as fast as it's possible, never forget that! And
while it's really tempting to just be lost in the fellow traveler that just
took your breath away, accidents happen, when you're not looking at the road
ahead. So, prioritise, keep moving (That's the only rule, remember!!!)
And just
another tip: When you ram into someone unintentionally, or someone irritates
the crap out of you with constant honking behind you; just smile and keep
moving. 'Cz stopping in the middle of this traffic, will only prolong and
worsen the traffic, for you, and the ones behind you. Also, having some
soothing music, to keep your nerves calm, always helps. Remember, howsoever frustrating and nerve wrecking, every traffic
jam ends eventually, and this one shall end too! And more than anything, each traffic jam, will make you a better driver – always. So just relax and keep moving.
Last
but not the least, when push comes to shove, and the traffic jams go bad,
you're the only one in-charge of getting yourself out of it.
'Cz as much as it's terrifying to accept, you're your only knight, with or without a shining armour!
